Weight loss is a dangerous thing to sort of obsess over. There are all of these quick fixes that are out there that purport to get the weight off in a safe and quick way, but in reality, if it does get the weight off, it’s not likely going to be safe, or if it is safe, it’s not likely to stay off. There are all these catches, and it turns out that there’s a really simple sort of workout that you can get into that will really help with getting the weight off: jumping. I mean, think about it: have you ever seen a fat person with an extremely high vertical jump? There’s a reason you haven’t. Good jumpers are fit. And inherent to jumping, inherent of the goal to train for jumping is losing weight, getting fit, and getting toned. It actually makes a good deal of sense when you actually think about it.
